SANY Nutrition Group has established a new food manufacturing facility in Jonesboro, Arkansas, representing an investment of more than $30 million and plans to create more than 150 new jobs over the next three years.
The company has acquired and remodeled the former Butterball facility at Craighead Technology Park, with operations already underway producing protein-rich bars and bites. The facility has the capacity to produce up to 400 million snacks annually.
“Through tailor-made formulation, premium ingredients, state-of-the-art equipment, and European-American process excellence, we transform bold ideas into distinctive, shelf-ready products—in weeks, not years,” said Angela Pernsteiner, investor. “We chose Jonesboro, Arkansas, for its business-friendly climate, dependable supply-chain infrastructure, and skilled workforce—an ideal combination for fast-moving food manufacturing.”
This investment adds another important name to Jonesboro’s growing food manufacturing sector and creates new opportunities for the region.
“We continue to find meaningful partnerships with industries in and around food and advanced manufacturing,” said Mark Young, Jonesboro Unlimited President and CEO. “Jonesboro is the right place to be successful, and we are thrilled that SANY Nutrition Group has chosen to call us home.”
