Our annual TekStarz Educators Externship was held on October 15, giving more than 30 local and regional teachers an inside look at careers in manufacturing. Educators visited three of four leading facilities — Hytrol, Nestlé, Nice-Pak, and Frito-Lay — to see firsthand what goes on behind the scenes in Jonesboro’s industrial sector. The knowledge they gained from this experience helps them inspire students and guide them toward rewarding career paths in advanced manufacturing.
